I didn't really have time to make these. I just moved schools so I still have a lot of things to get organized in my classroom, and a lot of the things I want to do in the first couple weeks of school are half-finished. So, even though none of the schedule cards that already existed were exactly what I wanted, I was going to use them, until I figured out that even the "editable" schedule cards had the pictures locked in place. I don't know about you, but I have to pay for my own color printing, and I am certainly not paying to print pictures I'm not even going to use. So I started looking at clipart packs, and after I saw packs themed to a couple different animals, I decided to see if I could find some clipart that went with my cactus theme. I spent way too long looking for the perfect clipart set, and ended up finding several different sets that I put together to represent most of the subjects I wanted. I couldn't find a cactus using KP Ten Frame Tiles, but I made it work. The side effect of all of this is that I kind of want to learn how to use vector drawing software so I can make my own clipart now. I might have a bit of a creative rabbit hole problem.
I am very happy with how these visual schedule cards came out. I got done with them at just about my bedtime. Did I go to bed, though? No. I made a pretty cover page and wrote a blog post so you can use these schedule cards too. Enjoy!
