I'm so glad you're here! This website is my way to justify putting way too much time into creating classroom resources, so please take advantage of some of the FREE resources I have created.
Nerospicy is a slang term for Neurodivergent, and is often used by members of the disabled community to embrace and appreciate our mental disabilities. In my case, I am ADHD with a side of Depression and Long COVID. I proudly identify as Disabled, Neurodivergent, and Neurospicy. You might also hear the term Neurodiverse, which is a great way to refer to a community of Neurodivergent and Neurotypical people, but (in my opinion) isn't a great label for individuals because one person can't really be diverse.
If you like what you see here, check out the organization that inspired many of my philosophies, and provided me with the mentorship that gave me the agency to create this website: the Center for Recruitment and Retention of Mathematics Teachers (CRR). In addition to the types of resources you can find here, the CRR is the only place I have seen hybrid instruction done truly effectively. Best of all, one of the main philosophies I got from the CRR was the value of providing educators with FREE resources! Find them at crr.math.arizona.edu
