Since Arizona doesn't use Common Core, the standards listed in the lessons and pacing guide of Eureka Math 2 are not accurate for Arizona teachers. Great Minds, the publishers of Eureka Math 2, does provide a list of which Arizona standards are covered in each lesson, but this document is not user-friendly. I used ChatGPT to help extract and format that data into a visually appealing table that can be read at a glance. I created these documents so teachers can easily list standards when lesson planning.
This document only includes the standard codes, not the full text for the standard. To use these documents for standards mapping or similar tasks, I suggest pairing with a standards placemat.
To access each unit, click the different sheets listed at the bottom of the document. Standard codes are listed vertically, and lessons are listed horizontally. The MASTER sheets listed at the end are just the raw data that is formatted in the other sheets, and do not contain any additional information.

This document reformats the official Eureka Math² Arizona Alignment Study into a teacher-friendly standards coverage map for Grade 1.
Standards are organized by module and lesson to support instructional planning, standards-based pacing, curriculum transparency, and collaboration among educators and administrators.
The information presented here is derived directly from the Eureka Math² Arizona alignment materials and is reorganized to improve clarity and usability while preserving the intent and accuracy of the original alignment.
HOW TO READ THE TABLES
● (Circle) indicates a lesson-level standard.
The standard is explicitly listed for that specific lesson in the Eureka Math² Arizona alignment document.
▲ (Triangle) indicates a topic-level standard.
The standard applies to all lessons within a designated topic, as specified in the alignment document.
When a standard applies at both the lesson and topic level, ● is shown to prioritize lesson-specific alignment without sacrificing accuracy.
Blank cells indicate that no new standards are explicitly assigned to that lesson.
This commonly occurs in application, synthesis, review, or assessment lessons.
METHODOLOGY & ACCURACY STATEMENT
This document was created using a multi-stage validation process, including:
• cluster-by-cluster and module-by-module standards extraction
• explicit expansion of lesson ranges into individual lessons
• separation of lesson-level and topic-level standards
• a mandatory late-topic review of the “Aligned Components of Eureka Math²” column to capture isolated end-of-module topic references
• formula-based validation and reverse auditing to identify and correct omissions
This process provides a high-confidence (approximately 98–99%) representation of Grade 1 Arizona Mathematics standards coverage in Eureka Math².
